TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified Other RN in Bronx, New York, 10459 Pay Information $15 to $20 per hour About The Position Specialty : Travel RN-Clinic Job Description Triage patients and assists patients with their needs based on acuity. Provides quality nursing care and medication administration. Administers immunizations/vaccines to specified patients. Monitors patient reactions and side-effects. Assists care team with pre-visit planning for high-risk patients. Ensures implementation of plans of care. Behaves as a role-model and source of nursing guidance to medical assistants and phlebotomists that are part of the team. Assists with prepping patients as needed and providing patient education. Assists providers during examinations and treatments. Ensures proper sterilization procedures using germicides, sterilizers, or autoclave. Ensures departmental adherence to clinical policies and procedures. Maintains health records by documenting patient contact and updating patient profile. Implements standing orders. Checks equipment, logs, and medical kits. Assists with ordering medical supplies, medications, and vaccines. Qualifications and Job Info 1-2 years of recent experience with in a health care setting, ideally ambulatory and/or pediatric and family medicine.
