About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Surgery - Neuro **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:00 **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years, specifically in a Neuro setting **License:** RN License **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS **Must-Have:** Teamwork skills, Neuro experience, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification **Job Description:** - Join a progressive Neuro department specializing in adult and geriatric patient care. - Care for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), altered mental status (AMS), brain cancer, spine and neck surgery, and post-craniotomy. - Utilize advanced equipment like Masimo vital sign monitors and Zoll devices; electronic health records managed through Cerner. - Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1 on our 20-bed unit. - No call requirements; weekend work includes 72 hours over 6 weeks. - Possess a personable, fun, and humorous personality that fits well in team environments. - Required education: Associates degree in Nursing. - Dress code: Wear any scrub color, but avoid nurse style sweatshirts with hoods; t-shirts permitted on Fridays and weekends.
