About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Step-Down **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum years not specified **License:** Any state RN license acceptable; compact license now accepted **Certifications:** EKG and Dysrhythmia competency assessment required before starting **Must-Have:** Able to pass an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to starting the assignment **Job Description:** - Work in a progressive care unit providing specialized nursing care - Execute a 36 or 48-hour contract with floating requirements - Be the first to float when necessary - Support the nursing care team across various units, including High Risk Respiratory Unit/COVID - Must be available to work every other weekend and on holidays - Required to comply with a 72-hour timeframe for completing lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam upon signing the contract - Complete up to 24 hours of billable modules during orientation - Modules to require an average of 18 - 24 hours, including up to 8 hours annually for ongoing training - Module hours to be self-reported to the manager - Compliance with flu vaccine requirements, with medical/religious exemptions only for the COVID-19 vaccine Note: Travelers are not eligible for internal incentives, and the hospital reserves the right to cancel up to two shifts per contract due to low census. Cancellation of the agreement may occur with two weeks' notice without fee or fine.
