About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 19:00-07:00 **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum 1 year **License:** RN License **Certifications:** ACLS **Must-Have:** - ACLS Certification - Competency in Telemetry - Willingness to work with LVNs and students **Job Description:** - Join a 35-bed private Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular care. - Work with a team consisting of a Charge Nurse Coordinator (CNC), RNs, LVNs, patient care technicians, and unit clerks. - Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5. - Operate essential medical equipment including drips and BIPAP. - Utilize Meditech electronic medical records (EMR). - Typical procedures include CABG, heart catheterization with PCI, implanting watchman devices, pacemakers, managing CHF, chest pain, and performing valve procedures. - Candidates should exhibit a positive attitude, be team-oriented, and demonstrate flexibility. - Floating may be required to related units such as Med/Surg or Telemetry. - Follow a navy blue scrub dress code. - Be prepared to work every other weekend or a minimum of four weekend shifts per schedule.
