About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down - Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years required; first-timers not accepted License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Phlebotomy skills Job Description: - Provide care for step-down status patients with a 1:3 ratio. - Collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on the unit. - Required to work every other weekend. - Expected to float between similar units as needed. - Complete 40 hours of orientation before starting. - Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays. - All travelers must be willing to float between facilities within the state. - Participate in pre-start and annual non-billable modules, averaging 16 hours. - Completion of modules is self-reported and tracked in Workramp transcripts. - Provide communication devices if needed for job duties. - Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
