About The Position
**Job Title:** Level 2 RN ICR Stepdown Float Pool **Job Specialty:** RN3: Level 3 RN PR1 **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 3x12-hour shifts, Nights, 7pm-7:30am, Every Other Weekend, 72 hours biweekly **Guaranteed Hours:** [Not specified] **Experience:** Preferred: Travel RN Experience, Cerner Medical Record Experience; Required: 2 years of Nursing Experience **License:** Current RN License **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association ONLY), Telemetry Exam (RN.com or Relias), NIHSS, Unit/Scope-specific exam (Relias or Prophecy), NYS Mandated Infection Control Certificate **Must-Have:** - Not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated. - Not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim. - Verification of legal right to work. - Successfully pass pre-employment health clearance. - Evidence of basic arrhythmia telemetry interpretation course certificate. - Preferably have 18 months of recent experience in an acute care facility of similar size and level. - Able to perform the majority of patient care skills with minimal orientation and supervision. **Job Description:** - Work in the ICR Stepdown Float Pool. - Provide high-quality nursing care, demonstrating strong assessment skills. - Function effectively with minimal supervision in a Level 2 acute care setting. - Participate in continuous learning and demonstrate evidence of professional development. - Maintain compliance with all professional standards and practices. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Flexibility to float across different units as needed. - Facilitate efficient communication and coordination within interdisciplinary teams.
