About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Cardiac/Intermediate Care **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 12-Hour Nights (1845-0715) **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years **License:** Active and in-hand - AZ or Compact **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - AHA or APEX **Must-Have:** EPIC experience required **Job Description:** - Provide care in the Cardiac/Intermediate Care Stepdown unit - Manage nurse-patient ratios of 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night - Handle mixed Medical-Surgical and PCU patients - Administer and titrate medications such as amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, heparin, nitro, and insulin - Experience with TAVR, CABG preferred - Work with a team that includes a charge nurse and patient care technicians - Use BiPAP and high-flow RT equipment; be knowledgeable about stable trach care - Interpret telemetry independently, supported by a dedicated monitor tech - Adhere to weekend and holiday requirements - Willing to float within patient population and MS floors - Comply with scrub color/dress code: Navy Blue - Participate in 1-day unit/department-specific orientation **Additional Notes:** - Positions require flexibility in scheduling and potential interview availability within 24-48 hours.
