About The Position
ID: 51551198 Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AMEvery Other Weekend Required. Holidays- As Needed.On call- Required. Not often, Description: Job Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Float requirements- Will be required to float to wherever is needed throughout facility. This includes Adult units/ect.When floating to Adult floors, RN will not take assignment but act as a PCT. ******Float requirements- Agency nurses have an expectation to float to Mother/Baby and Pediatric ED. But additionally have the expectation to float to any other floor (depending on the needs of the hospital) SOLELY as a resource nurse/extra set of hands***** Schedule PM - 7:15 AMEvery Other Weekend Required. Not often, only when census is down and not needed in Peds ER, Mother/Baby, Nursery.Minimum 2 years of previous Clinical Pediatric experience required and 2 years of PICU******Float requirements- Agency nurses have an expectation to float to Mother/Baby and Pediatric ED.
