Job Details:Our Operating Room (OR) RNs:
- Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgeries including general, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic trauma, plastics, robotic, pediatrics, etc.
- Provide safe, prompt, skillful perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing invasive or operative procedures.
- Utilize the perioperative nursing process to plan and provide total, direct patient care before, during, and immediately after surgery according to established standards and practices
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Advocate for patients through safety intervention and support.
What you'll bring:
- Passion for Perioperative Services
- 1+ years of Acute Care RN experience
- 1+ years of Perioperative or Main Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
- Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required
- Preferred Certifications: CNOR
