Full-Time (RN) Registered Nurse Educator/ Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities (RN) Registered Nurse Educator/ Infection Preventionist:

·        Providing professional and technical guidance to subordinate nursing staff and participates in all management functions of the nursing department.

·        IP collaborates and consults with physicians, managers, and staff for the management and prevention of infectious diseases.

·        Plan, organize, develop, and direct all staff development educational programs throughout the facility.

·        Providing learning opportunities that will enable all employees to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to perform their assigned duties safely and effectively.

·        Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

·        Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Qualifications (RN) Registered Nurse Educator/ Infection Preventionist:

·        Ability to work independently or part of a group.

·        Leadership Experience

·        Communication Skills

·        Computer knowledge.

·        Previous long term care experience is preferred.

License: 

·        Must have an Active RN license.
