Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) III looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings. $9,000 - $12,000 sign-on bonus! Opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients. Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for the delivery of patient care. The nurse is guided by professional nursing standards. The RN may direct activities of other nursing department personnel. Education and/or Experience ~ Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse required. Licensure/Certification/Registration Current licensure in the State of South Dakota as a Registered Nurse or multi-state compact RN license and must be maintained in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire and must be maintained. ACLS is recommended. PALS is highly recommended. Attends all mandatory hospital and departmental meetings and in-services. Participates in educational opportunities and updates/maintains current professional clinical competency related to areas of responsibilities. Work Schedule ~ Day/Night Shift; 48 hours every 2 weeks ~7:00 am - 7:30 pm and 7:00 pm - 7:30 am ~ Every 3rd weekend ~ Every other holiday ~ Occasional call time Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. ~$31.00 - $46.50 per hour
