• Department: Interventional Radiology
• Schedule: Day shift: Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 or 0800-1630. A four 10-hour shift schedule, 0630-1700, may be available.
• Call time is required. Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of call.  Call rotation averages 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks, plus 3-4 weeknights per month.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional
procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

• Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
• Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
• Perform set up and provides equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
  hire.

Additional Preferences

 1 year med/surg experience with 1 year of ICU or ER experience preferred. Call time is required. Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of call.  Call rotation averages 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks, plus 3-4 weeknights per month. Call frequency is subject to change depending on varying factors within the department at any time.
