NOW HIRING: RN Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with hiring, training, and managing nursing staff.
• Support the DON in daily operations and compliance with regulations.
• Provide reports and recommendations to the DON on departmental performance.
• Monitor staffing needs, absenteeism, and ensure adequate coverage.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys.
• Oversee resident discharge planning and care plan development.
• Conduct daily rounds to assess care quality and staff performance.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation and medication administration.
• Address and document staff and resident complaints.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Foster positive relationships with regulators, families, and the community.
• Serve as acting DON or Charge Nurse as needed.

RN Unit Manager Qualifications:

• RN license in New Jersey is mandatory.

   

• Short-term skilled experience is necessary.

   

• Previous experience in Unit Management (UM) is essential.
