About the Job
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Staff development Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for all staff. This role requires a deep understanding of nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. The Staff Development Coordinator will ensure that all staff are up to date with the latest medical practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements. This position involves creating training materials, organizing workshops, and providing one-on-one coaching to staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to improving patient care through continuous learning and professional development. The Staff Development Coordinator will also be responsible for assessing the educational needs of the staff, by developing individualized learning plans, and tracking the progress of each employee. This will be done in accordance with federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and govern over our facility as may be required by the NHA to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality care and ensuring that all staff are competent and confident in their roles. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must be licensed to practice as a RN or LPN in the state of RI, minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, experience in nursing education or staff development. Must have a strong understanding of nursing practices and healthcare regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. Proficiency in using educational technology and software. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess the educational needs of all facility staff. Experience in creating and updating training materials. Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
