About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Acute Rehab **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 x 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2+ years of recent, strong rehab experience in a hospital setting required. Acute rehab and medical/surgical experience highly preferred. **License:** Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license **Certifications:** BLS-AHA, NIHSS **Must-Have:** - Strong rehab experience - Ability to float to medical/surgical telemetry units if needed **Job Description:** - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions. - Manage care of patients. - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. - Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned. - Work in a 40-bed acute rehab facility. - No on-call requirements. **Preferred Skills & Experience:** - Minimum 2 years of acute rehab and medical/surgical experience.
