The Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral part the care team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As an RN you are responsible for providing a full range of nursing care in an interdisciplinary environment including:
• Assessment • Care Planning • Implementing Care • Managing Patient Care• Quality Improvement• Problem Solving• Bedside Nursing• Medication Administration • Treatments
Required qualifications: • Graduate of approved Registered Nurse (RN) Program. • Previous experience as an RN in an acute care/long term care setting is desirable. • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.

RN UNIT MANAGER
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the DON/ADON the Unit Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned core programs. Leadership is provided to all nursing staff through daily oversight of nursing care on the assigned unit(s). Unit Managers adhere to the standards of care, manage the environment to maintain resident safety, and supervise the resident care activities performed by RN’s, LPN’s and Nursing Assistants. May act on behalf of the DON in his/her absence. Follows all policies and procedures and performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Education/Certifications/Experience
- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Current RN license is required. Employee must be in good standing with the state. Possession of a current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers CPR certificate is required.
- EXPERIENCE: As a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of charting on Electronic Medical Record Software, Point Click Care.
- Overtime hours, with little or no notice, may be required, if deemed necessary by the reporting supervisor.
- Although unlikely, local and out-of-town travel may be required for training purposes. Average travel expectation is less than 1%.
