Job Title: RN Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Supervisor to join our team. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with professional standards of practice, physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to provide direct care to patients while also supervising nursing assistants. The RN Supervisor will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care delivery and ensure that patient needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing personnel and ensure that patient care meets professional standards of practice
- Provide direct care to patients as needed
- Coordinate care delivery with other healthcare professionals
- Implement and follow facility policies and procedures, physician orders, and relevant guidelines
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Participate in staff development and training
- Monitor and evaluate nursing personnel performance
- Identify and address patient care issues and implement appropriate interventions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Requirements:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of professional standards of practice and relevant guidelines
- Ability to provide direct care to patients and supervise nursing assistants
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
