This is a full-time, 100% FTE position, scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday, with core hours between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some off hours may be required or weekends may be required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at the University Hospital located in Madison, WI.

The Clinical Research Unit mission is to create a research unit that provides participant and family centered care, demonstrates exemplary professional practice, and provides quality data and research resources.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to:
- Assist the Nurse Manager in leading a team of REMARKABLE nurses caring for adult patients in the Inpatient Clinical Research Unit - a dedicated research unit located at University Hospital that serves both investigator-initiated and industry studies.
- Lead the day to day operation and coordination of patient care services while coordinating and guiding the work activities of the staff.
- Oversight of nursing staff; promote staff continuing education, professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Assist with process improvement, operational improvement, talent recruitment, performance evaluations, staffing needs, scheduling, and orientation/onboarding coordination.
- Serve as a role model, demonstrating effective patient care, leadership, and professional behavior. Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
- Master's Degree in Nursing or relevant field Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years relevant nursing experience Required
- Evidence of leadership experience Required
- 5 years or more of relevant experience in clinical practice Preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated success Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required
- Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
- Current ACLS Certification Upon Hire Required
- Certification in relevant specialty Preferred
