About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Weekends & Holidays as Scheduled **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required **License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license **Certifications:** - BLS - AHA - NIHSS - Telemetry Certification - CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours **Must-Have:** - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an ASN - Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam **Job Description:** - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care. - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models. - Must be willing to float to similar units as needed. **Preferred Education:** BSN **Preferred Certifications & Licensure:** None specified **Languages:** Must be proficient in English (Read, Write, Speak).
