About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 07:00-19:00 **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience required **License:** Not specified **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS **Must-Have:** Candidates without these skills will not be considered **Job Description:** - Work collaboratively in a telemetry unit with 37 beds and a day shift team of 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk. The night shift includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. - Manage patient ratios of 1:6, and 1:4 for Heart Cath patients. - Utilize PCA Pumps, IV pumps, and manage chest tubes efficiently. - Work with Meditech EMR system. - Perform typical procedures such as managing central lines, administering medication drips, Heart Cath recovery, and conducting bubble studies. - Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently. - Adhere to unit guidelines and policies. - Benefit from working in an environment with new equipment and technology, with experienced and tenured staff providing support.
