Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Academic General Pediatrics is located at 330 Barclay Ave NE, Suite 300. Our practice specializes in the following: Academic General Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, Nutrition Services, Patient Education, Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Neurodevelopmental, Pediatric Specialty Clinic, Primarily Cares for Children, and Well Child Visits

About Outpatient Clinics 

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. 

Scope of work 

Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Qualifications 

• Associate's Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
• 1 year of experience as an RN Preferred
