Location: Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Annual Salary: $105,000 – $110,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Leadership: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DNS) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) in the daily planning, organizing, and evaluation of nursing functions.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in surveys and inspections and assist in developing and updating resident care plans.
• Staff Oversight: Ensure nursing personnel adhere to their roles, make daily rounds to verify performance, and provide feedback to DNS as needed.
• Resident Care: Welcome new residents, manage rounds with physicians, monitor medication and treatments, and coordinate discharge plans.
• Documentation & Compliance: Complete MDS per schedule, run EMR reports, and oversee documentation accuracy, audits, and incident investigations.
• Family Communication: Contact families regarding resident condition changes and collaborate with Social Services on discharge plans.
• Emergency Preparedness: Ensure emergency equipment readiness and oversee shift-specific responsibilities, including narcotic counts and maintenance work orders.

Qualifications:

• Education: BSN degree and BLS certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 years as an RN supervisor in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Skills: Strong leadership, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
