We operate 18 clinics in Santa Cruz County and feature more than 70 providers with specialties including pediatrics oncology and hematology plastic and reconstructive surgery gastroenterology OB/GYN urology physical medicine and rehabilitation and urgent care. Santa Cruz County is 70 miles south of San Francisco and boasts great surf sandy beaches redwood-covered mountains and more.
Responsibilities:- High School diploma or equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions or military training that is equivalent to an accredited Registered Nurse program (determination by Dignity Health H.R. department in conjunction with the State Division of Allied Health Professions)
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and customer service skills are essential
- Medical terminology familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding procedures and reference tools and pharmacology appropriate to the Registered Nurse scope of practice is essential
- Current RN License
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- Five (5) year experience in an outpatient setting as a Registered Pediatric Nurse is preferred
- Experience with patient clinical management
- Experience with supporting and managing support staff
- Familiarity with an electronic practice management system is preferred
