About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Pediatric Wound Care **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 3x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) - Monday, Wednesday, Friday **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** 2+ years of recent pediatric wound care experience required **License:** Valid state license required. Pending license accepted for submission but must be issued prior to start date. **Certifications:** BLS required **Must-Have:** - COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster (No Exemptions) - Pediatric experience with a minimum of 2 years in specialty **Job Description:** - Provides acute management and follow-up care for patients with burn injuries from initial treatment through healing and long-term scar management. - Offers trauma patient evaluations post-hospital discharge in a clinic setting. - Work collaboratively with nurse practitioners and trauma/burn surgeons available for backup. - Maintain compliance with facility protocols and policies. - Complete mandatory pre-start modules and orientation before beginning the assignment. - Maintain non-smoking conduct as facility upholds a zero-tolerance policy. - Wear child-friendly scrubs without logos. **Additional Notes:** - The clinic offers a comprehensive approach to wound care for pediatric patients. - Flexible with locals accepted under the same conditions. - Submittals are reviewed by a clinical team. - Orientation dates available in November and December.
