Join our dedicated group of professionals who excel in the virtual care of critical care patients both internally at UW Health-Wisconsin's #1 hospital, and regionally at community and critical access hospitals across both Wisconsin and Illinois.
We are seeking an experienced critical care Registered Nurse (RN) to:
- Provide virtual support from our eICU command center to patients of UW Health, Meriter, Monroe, Freeport, Richland, Platteville, Mauston, Sauk Prairie, Portage and Medford hospitals with acute illnesses as well as management of chronic conditions.
- Virtually round on an average of 35 patients per shift, admit patients, and respond to changing vital signs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change while also collaboratively mentoring RNs at regional sites through the mentorship program.
- Work collaboratively with RNs, a nursing assistant and an intensivist each shift. Nurses on this team have an average of 20 years of ICU experience!

Education :
Preferred - Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN).
Work Experience :
Minimum - Two (2) years of nursing experience.
Preferred - Relevant RN Experience
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact. Current CPR/BLS Certification. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
