Robot Operator/Ceramic Mold-making
Join our team as a 1st or 2nd Shift Robot Operator/Ceramic Mold-making and step into the future of manufacturing! As a crucial member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology as you operate three and six-axis robots to produce ceramic molds for our advanced investment casting process.
Responsibilities:
- Input work instructions for individual jobs on 3 axis and 6 axis dipping robots
- Troubleshooting
- Collaborating with team members to optimize production processes.
- Document and maintain records in manufacturing software system
- Add materials for mixing ceramic slurry maintaining accurate specifications and chemistry
- Regulate humidity and temperature levels to ensure consistency
- Hand dip wax components into slurry and sand mixtures
- Remove sand/excess from ceramic molds
Requirements:
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Basic computer knowledge (i.e. data entry)
- Ability to read instructions and follow directions accurately with limited supervision
- Basic communication (oral and written) skills
- Ability to multi-task and alternate workstations
- Ability to lift and carry molds weighing up to 65lbs on an occasional basis
- Ability to work collaboratively with team
- Robot operator experience (preferred)
