Rollformer Operator - Janus - Janus International Group

Produces guides for overhead steel doors.

• Sets up and operates rolling mill to form sheet metal sections of various types, gauges, and lengths from coils of sheet steel according to blueprints or other specifications.
• Inspects first piece for variation from rolling or length specifications and make necessary adjustment to mill.
• Starts mill for automatic operation and controls speed from control panel.
• Patrols mill to detect jamming.
• Inspects raw material or finished product visually or by measurement for variation from specified quality standards.
• Must occasionally operate a forklift and overhead crane to move materials and product.
• Keeps work area clean and neat.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have mig weld education and/or experience.
• One to two years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must regularly lift up to 75 pounds. Regularly required to sit walk, stand, and bend.
