What you will do:


* Builds Rooftop HVAC units by assembling various complex component parts.
* Required to perform a variety of assembly operations, moving within the area to meet production needs, performing tasks including buildup, electrical assembly, interior/exterior component fit-up, and final assembly.
* Uses a computer for assembly drawings.
* Performs a quality check on the unit before it leaves the assembly station. Performs 5S procedures.
* Takes part in the training process for all new team members.
* Provides input regarding the performance of new team members.
* Participates with other team members on safety, process, and quality improvement teams.
* Works with team members, supervisors, and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


* Ability to operate hand tools
* Ability to read and understand written English

Preferred Qualifications:


* High School Diploma or GED
* Previous manufacturing experience
