Clairmont Place is searching for one effective, positive, experienced housekeeper to join our team at a tight knit, supportive, caring retirement community. This is a part time position and the days/hours can set around your schedule.

Clairmont Place is a condominium association for independent retired adults and you will work as part of a team of housekeepers that provide bi-weekly home cleaning services to our condo residents, in addition to cleaning common areas in our business building.
The right professional will have a good, flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to work cleanly and quickly. Must be dependable for all shifts. Must be able to operate with kindness, integrity and courtesy, able to manage your own time, working efficiently, while respecting your teammates and working towards a mutual goal. We work hard to keep our space clean, safe and supportive.
You will report directly to a the head of housekeeping who reports to the facilities/operations director.
Must be able to pass a drug and background check - do not apply if you can't. Minimum of 2 years of experience.
POSITION: Housekeeper
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Housekeeping Supervisor
STATUS: Non-Exempt / Hourly
SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for cleaning resident's apartments and including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchen and changing beds. You should be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds or more and have an eye for cleanliness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Must successfully clear a background check and drug screen
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well unsupervised.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more.
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with residents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
- Clean resident's condos.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Notify managers of necessary repairs.
- Collect and dispose of trash.

Must be able to work semi-independently and have strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, policies and employee manuals

High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation, and interaction with residents' families and families experiencing loss
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Compensation details: 15-15 Hourly Wage
