Title: Rory's Rooftop - Bartender

Job Purpose

The Bartender at Rory's Puttery Rooftop Bar is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, making recommendations to enhance the guest experience, and having a thorough knowledge of the venue's food, beverage, and gaming options. They also manage cash and financial transactions. This role requires maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude, providing excellent hospitality, and staying informed about the venue's offerings.

Additionally, the Bartender must be familiar with the venue's Beverage Recipe Book. To achieve this, Bartenders are expected to participate in training to gain a comprehensive understanding of the liquors, beers, wines, and other beverages available at the venue.

Responsibilities

• Work hours as scheduled and additional hours when requested
• Follow directions and demonstrate teamwork
• Work well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, boosting hospitality
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards working with food

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Craft cocktail experience preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant standards and hospitality
• Working knowledge of current and popular bar and cocktail trend
• Good communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and down stairs
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, to walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push or pull.  
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at-a-time without assistance.
