Route Driver
DocuVault is adding to our team and we are in need of a Route Driver for our Archive-Storage Team. As a DocuVault driver, you will have the responsibility of servicing our client’s needs daily.
Responsibilities:
- On average there are 20-25 stops per day for this route consisting of transporting secured documents from client locations daily.
- Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment.
- Drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading their own truck consisting of files, boxes, etc. and Pickup and Delivery of archival materials
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/ or state laws, regulations and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Repetitive lifting of and average weight of 50 pounds
- Ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Customer service is our 1st priority
- Services accounts using a hand-held device to confirm service
- Ensures that vehicles are cleaned and organized at all times in accordance with company guidelines
- Conducts daily check-in with Operations Manager to review route completion and efficiencies
- Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable and all necessary paperwork accurately as required by company policy
- Understand and implement all Corporate policies and procedures that impact job responsibility
- Maintain a safe workplace and follow all safety requirements as outlined in corporate policies and performs mandated daily safety and preventative maintenance checks on truck
Qualifications
- Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and valid Driver’s License
- Available to work during these hours: Monday through Friday, 6:15 AM – 5:00 PM (depending on route time)
- Ability to lift and move product and pallets weighing up to 75 lbs. This is a physical job.·
- Must have experience with route truck driving
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate handheld scanner
- DOT Medical card (Preferred)
