Responsibilities & Qualifications:We are seeking a Route Specialist to join our:
Birmingham, Alabama Depot Team!
Essential job responsibilites include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage customer inventory
- Identify problem/root causes and develop alternative courses of action and make decisions that are based on logic assumptions which reflect factual information
- Provide route relief to cover Route Driver's vacations, call outs, reroutes and additional volume
- Make special deliveries to customers
- Responsible for account maintenance and route logistics
- Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday
- Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 an hour depending on experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds plus, as well as push and pull carts of linen
- Must be computer literate
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CDL B and/or A preferred
- Some delivery, logistics and/or route experience
- Communication skills: Excellent oral, written, phone and face-to-face
- One year experience with account management and ensuring customer satisfaction
