Rules Developer Lead
Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ
6 Months
Experience in using RHDM/Drools rules engine as kjars in Spring-boot REST services or standalone using KIE.
• Hands on experience in using RHDM/Drools rules engine as kjars in Spring-boot REST services or standalone using KIE.
• Experience in building REST services using Spring boot services.
• SME in creating process flows within RHDM & usage of various type of business assets [Decision Tables, Guided tables, DRL etc].
• Experience in decision central based rules authoring & CI-CD.
• Working knowledge on Red Hat Decision manager & Git integration.
• Experience in testing automation and automated rule simulation environment setup. Create automation frameworks and write automation scripts for existing manual processes.
• Setup process which can create and manage decision tables & business rules dynamically. Manage and maintain the rules schema attributes.
• Assist business with interpreting and designing rules requirements.
• Dev-Ops experience towards Open shift, Jenkins/Git/RHDM is a plus.
• Experience with Databases like SQL Server / Azure Storage Tables / Cosmos DB.
• Debug and resolve any challenges with the applications.
• Involvement in full development life cycle. Design, Coding, test, build, QA, deployment and maintenance.
• Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Influence/encourage team to build solutions with quality and confined to architecture.
• Work with business partners to understand functional requirements and translate into consumable technical stories.
• Research and recommend technology/solutions.
• Collaboratively work with teams across to ensure delivery.
Qualifications - External
Position Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in analyze, design, create, test and implement business rules in Red Hat Decision Manager 7.
• Strong experience in Java, Drools, Docker, Microservices, DMN, Business Optimizer, RESTful, API, Spring, container-based cloud deployment, Heterogeneous Deployment Model.
• Strong skills with Powershell, nAnt, Ant, MSBuild, Gradle or other similar languages.
• Should be able to deliver Agile Development.
• REST API integral knowledge, Application Infrastructure, XML/XSL, Scripting, API Management, Micro Services, Containers, Knowledge on Azure Cloud Services is plus.
• Knowledge of GitHub and TFS, VSTS, Jenkins, Jira etc.
• Excellent written/verbal skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products required.
• Works successfully in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to quickly adapt to change.
• Demonstrated ability to meet commitments under pressure.
• Works effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to take full ownership of work and show initiative as needed.
• Committed to hard work and a high ethical conduct.
