THIS IS A LIMITED TERM EMPLOYMENT (LTE) POSITION WITH AN EXPECTED DURATION OF FOUR (4) YEARS
Eliminating fatal and serious crashes is a primary goal for Traffic Engineering and this position will support projects and programs that support this critical safety work. This position will execute the implementation of Safe Streets for All grant funded projects as well as implementation of other traffic safety grants. This position will be a part of the City’s Vision Zero staff team and provide support for the City’s implementation of the Vision Zero action plan. Responsibilities include ensuring the timely delivery of projects and reports, data gathering, vendor selection, outreach and engagement, and design and construction oversight.
