Overview

We are seeking a Safety Engineer to join our team at our facility in Banning, CA. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees and visitors at our facility by implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
• Investigate and report on accidents or incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience working as a Safety Engineer or in a similar role
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
