About the Job
- Conducts daily, weekly and monthly audits to comply with OSHA and company policies. This includes coming in early once a month to do harness / lanyard inspection as needed.
- Provides safety training and conducts safety meetings once a month, this includes changing schedule hours to meet the business need.
- Maintain and manage all safety related files.
- Conduct monthly self-audits.
- Assist the operation with annual audits.
- Report any safety issues to the safety supervisor.
- Audits all first aid kits and/or safety supplies for the entire facility and replenishes as needed.
- Works with the customer and operations team to meet safety goals.
- Prepares meeting minutes, meeting notes, and internal support materials.
- Assist with any project as needed.
- Collects Preflights from all departments to ensure inspection sheets are filed for recordkeeping.
- Prepares documents utilizing word processing, creating tables, charts and memos using computer software.
- Assists in tracking and maintaining OSHA, Worker’s Compensation and other logs as needed.
- Sends out reports via email on facility housekeeping audits, weekly safety reports, OSHA trainings, safety committee minutes, monthly inspections fire extinguishers, lighting & fans, weekly MHE hours, monthly MHE hours.
- Conducts weekly fire pump tests.
- Assists in interpreting from English to Spanish as needed.
- Translate simple forms and memos from English to Spanish as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Must be self-motivated and work independently
- Must be detail oriented and ability to manage multiple projects
- Intermediate skills in Excel ,Word and PowerPoint
- Quick on their feet, willing to be flexible with the work schedule and hours with possible weekends
- Certified to operated required MHE in facility
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, sit and walk for each category 25% of the time
- Bending, stooping, squatting, climbing and crouching 25% (Secondary to the above bullet)
- Able to communicate with others by telephone and in person
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures in / Out of warehouse
- Frequent exposure to moving machinery
- High paced work environment with the ability to multitask
- Office setting with exposure to warehouse environment as the work being performed requires
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
