SAFETY DIRECTOR NEEDED- Previous experience required - Gpac

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at job sites.
• Provide safety training and resources for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Stay updated on safety regulations and trends, implementing changes as necessary.
• Lead safety meetings and initiatives to promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry.
• OSHA certification and relevant safety training credentials.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs.
