McGee Air Services is looking for an experienced Safety Engagement Specialist to join our Corporate Safety & Compliance Team.
The Safety Engagement Specialist is a key member of the McGee Safety & Compliance team, that is responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting safety programs and initiatives within the organization. The Safety Engagement Specialist will play a critical role in translating complex safety data into engaging and easily understandable messages for diverse audiences across the organization, ensuring that all team members are well-informed and aligned with the company's safety goals. The Safety Engagement Specialist will foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement, driving the organization toward its safety goals.
This role will report to the Director, Safety & Compliance with a strong partnership with McGee's Communications Specialist, Sr.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the execution or delivery of the established safety communications based on QC data pool and analysis, that aligns with current safety standards and anticipated future trends and challenges in the Airline Ground Handling industry.
- Work closely with the QC team to ensure that the safety communication is data-driven, leveraging the latest safety trends, analysis, and insights to develop targeted and effective messaging.
- Collaborate with Operations and Training departments, using data-driven insights to inform communication strategies and initiatives.
- Create engaging and informative content, including PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, briefs, and other materials, to effectively communicate safety messages to diverse audiences.
- Analyze and report on McGee's safety communication strategic initiatives and provide data-informed recommendations for process improvement and optimization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on safety promotionbest practices, providing guidance and support to station-level Operations and Safety personnel.
- Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration, encouraging team members to share ideas, concerns, and feedback related to safety and quality.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, incorporating new insights and approaches into the safety communication strategy.
- Assist with incident and accident investigations, ensuring that findings and lessons learned are effectively communicated to prevent future occurrences.
- Support the development and implementation of safety promotion initiatives, leveragingteam member engagement expertise to drive engagement and participation.
- Establish and maintain a culture that encourages open communication, where all team members feel valued, connected and engaged in the success of the operation

- Perform additional duties as required for the success of the business
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two (2) years of airline experience with proven skills in station operations, including one of the following areas: ground operations, cargo handling, fleet service, and/or passenger service preferred.
- Degree/proven experience inDigital Visual Arts, or a related field is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Exceptional ability to simplify complex safety information and data into easily understandable messages for diverse audiences, ensuring that all team members are well-informed and engaged in the company's safety initiatives.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful safety promotionstrategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to translate complex safety data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in developing engaging visual content, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, and other relevant software.
- Collaborative and proactive mindset, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and excellence in safety communication.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast -paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
SALARY RANGE:
Salary Band Range: $67,725.00 - $94,516.00
Hiring Salary Range: $67,725.00 - $80,000.00
SALARY DETAILS: The pay range and total target compensation package is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Pay will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to location, relevant experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity to other McGee employees.
