Job Title: Construction Safety Manager

Location: Safety Manager - Chantilly, VA

Duration: 3 Months (Immediate Start)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $50- $55/hr
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay: Weekly

Schedule:

• Hours: Monday to Friday - 6am - 2pm

Project Scope:
Data Center - New construction, electrical contractor

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in construction safety management, electrical safety experience preferred
• Certifications: Current OSHA 500 certification required. BCSP cert preferred

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
• Provide safety training as needed.
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications

Skills:

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.
• Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate these effectively.

Work Environment:
Primarily in warehouse, manufacturing, and construction settings. May require after-hours work or occasional weekends in response to emergencies.
