Job Title: Safety Specialist
Location: Bedford Park, IL (Argo Plant)
Reports To: Safety Manager

Core Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety programs and policies.

Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance.

Coordinate site security activities and emergency response plans.

Provide training and support to employees on safety practices.

Analyze incident reports and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with management to promote a safety-first culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field.

2+ years of experience in safety or environmental health.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Certifications such as CSP or CHST preferred.
