Short Term Safety Staffing Professional

Job Description

• Short term assignment at Fuji in Holly Springs NC. 
• Staffing for 3 to 5 months project
• Working directly with the client  as a W-2 employee on jobsite based in Holly Springs, NC, the safety professional conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
• Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
• Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on client project site.
• Provides project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirm project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
• Provides technical support to project managers.
• Participates in team meetings and provides regular on-site project presence.

Work Hours & Benefits

• This is a w-2 casual position that is paid hourly.
• Schedule is 40 hours minimum per week, nights and weekend are possible as needed on this project.
• Pay rate is depending on credentials and experience.
• Per Diem is paid on this job, but local candidates are preferred.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• OSHA 500 required
• Minimum 5 years large scale construction experience, including at least 8 years management level safety profession experience
• Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA 500 (Construction Safety)
• Drug testing and background checks are required
