About the Job
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs variety of clerical duties, including, but not limited to: maintaining logs, manuals and files; assisting in the development of PowerPoint presentations by importing text and by developing charts and simple illustrations when needed.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all files and records
- Safety Administration responsibilities will include setting a safety example to help the EHS department establish a safety culture within the facility.
- Disseminates information to department Supervisors and Leads regarding hazardous substances, safety hazards, chemical hazards, and other safety information.
- Prepare, disseminate, and help maintain notes, reports, and control of records related to safety, environmental and health programs.
- Keep certifications up to date and continue to pursue education and certificates to help drive the HSE program towards its goals.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail with all things related to the EHS department.
- Adhere to safety work procedures that are assigned and to maintain regular implementation of assigned tasks to help the facility reach projected targets and goals.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.

- REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED);
- Minimum of one year related experience and/or training.
- Computer literate and skilled in MS Word, Power Point and Excel, data input and manipulation.
- High level of interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all employees, customers and vendors.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
