General Summary:The heavy equipment vertical within the Capital Asset Group inside Liquidity Services is looking to reestablish important construction and transportation partnerships to bring profitable business and assets. The purpose of the role is to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue generation. The role will be responsible for signing new business and maximizing revenues through developing long-term relationships with a detailed understanding of principle client needs and LSI service offerings and how they map against client needs for a sustained revenue stream.
Responsibilities:- Meet or exceed revenue target requirements set by the vertical leader
- Utilize SalesForce to assist the machinery dealers in consigning surplus projects into our various marketplaces
- Develop, maintain, and recruit new clients through business travel, auction site contact and phone/email contact
- In partnership with Operations, consign equipment into quarterly, monthly or bi-monthly online auctions and add this equipment into other markets to better assist clients
- Develop and close One-Off and Principle business through partnerships
- Maintenance of accurate client information and account related activities and opportunities within the CRM system
- Increase client portfolio revenue growth and client utilization of LSI service offerings
- Assist Operations PMs with site matters and client liaison requirements
Qualifications:
Education/ Experience/ Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, engineering, or business desired or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience in a client facing sales role
- Construction Equipment and Transportation fleet knowledge is prefered
Skills:
- Proven success with client acquisition, retention and program management
- Customer service oriented with the ability to effectively communicate and resolve client challenges with internal departments (operations, finance, legal, customer service ect.)
- Time management skills with the ability to work autonomously for long periods
- Positive and cooperative attitude with the ability to work in a team setting and represent Liquidity Services in a professional manner
- Self-motivation and attention to detail is critical
Ability:
- Ability to travel to client locations, sale sites and promote specific market places by adding sellers and buyers
- Ability to identify and close new One-Off & Principle opportunities
Location:
- Houston, TX
Travel:
- Travel is required with the expectation of 30-40% that includes partnership meetings/conferences, client equipment sites, as well as corporate meetings
