New business development in the fields of automotive lighting and program management for the awarded/production programs
[Job Description]
1) Main role
Develop new business opportunities and customers in the fields of automotive lighting as Tier-2 level
Responsible for managing customer accounts
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
Identify customers' needs and pain points and solve those issues as a support window in the US; communicate customers' needs to Korean HQ
Real-time sensing and intelligence of industry/market trends; report to Korean HQ on a regular basis
For all other business-related issues, communicate/work with and provide feedback to Korean counterparts on a regular basis
2) Other responsibility
Coordinate with engineering teams in HQ and customers for on-going program issues and progress
Experience as sales account manager with minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive exterior lighting (OEM, Tier-1, and Tier-2)
Extensive experience in mainly automotive exterior lighting (lamps and light sources), with knowledge in related-technologies
Willing to co-work with Korean counterparts
Strong team player and willing to take on new responsibilities
Initiative, independent and self-motivated
Routine business travel to current and potential customers across North America (Mainly in Michigan area. Canada/Mexico from time to time)
English ( preferred if Korean is available)
