About the Job
Additionally, the Sales Administrator assists with market research, product feedback, business planning and implementation readiness, often consulting with cross-functional teams from technical product management, product marketing, sales, solution experts, finance and client services.
Primary Accountabilities:
Operational (60%)
Help to define the market by mapping the needs with target markets and analyze the market segments to actively pursue
Research to ensure that the targeted segments are large enough to support the current and future business of the product
Participate in determining the distribution strategy including which channels, vendors, partners, affiliates best align with your markets’ buying preferences
Support Product Management in integrating assigned products into a coherent portfolio of products focused on the market and in determining the most effective way to deliver a complete solution to an identified market problem
Work with Product Management and Product Marketing to design and deliver training programs to help the sales team understand how clients will use the product
Work closely with Sales team to support their efforts day-to-day
Coordinate with appropriate Client Services team to hand-off client once the sale is complete
Facilitate product fulfillment through various vendors providing products (tangible goods) and/or services; utilize Inmar’s WIS (inventory system) to monitor product inventory
Administrative (40%)
Track sales information needed for client billing
Coordinate with Corporate Billing Operations team to facilitate the invoice/collection process
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, logistics, or business preferred
2-4 years of experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
Proficient with Google Suite
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Proficient with Salesforce.com
