POSITION SUMMARY

Here at King Canopy, we are seeking a temp-to-hire Sales Assistant who will be responsible for maintaining new clients, while assisting our sales team in whatever admin is needed. This position will work with our online customers as well as our brick and mortar stores. The Sales Assistant will report to the Asst. General Manager to ensure that all inquiries from the sales staff are handled in a timely fashion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with the sales force to ensure that all requests are handled
• Exemplify excellent customer service skills at all times
• Communicates with management on perspective opportunities
• Develops sales reports, presentations, and technical documents
• Provide quotes to sales team and dealers
• Use CRM system to track customer engagements
• Call customers and dealers to either set appointments, arrange shipments, or perform other tasks as necessary
• Assist with travel arrangements for all sales staff
• Attend festivals and conferences as needed
• Develop strong relationships with dealers that result in business-to-business trust and credibility
• Analyze current customer base to determine best approach to grow the business
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure prompt shipping of products
• Perform other duties as necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
• Minimum 2 years of customer service
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Excel and Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Able to maintain composure in high stress situations

EDUCATION
• High School Diploma

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Must be able to lift 25lbs, and must have full body mobility, including bending, squatting, climbing, etc.
• Travel: Minimal
