Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally across sales & marketing functions to create a fun, exciting, and memorable dispensary experience for our customers.
- Act as an enthusiastic brand ambassador, driving excitement & engagement, building industry relationships, and identifying influencer opportunities to boost our digital presence.
- Support the marketing team in the field through best-in-class implementation of marketing activations, including but not limited to: ideating & executing in-store & Boston-area events, guerilla marketing opportunities, & social media content creation.
- Work collaboratively with Buying teams to monitor customer trends, identify assortment opportunities, and report on product sell-through to ensure high-demand products are always available & in-stock.
- Ideate & implement promotional opportunities, from flash sales to loyalty programs, to maximize customer engagement.
- Act as a leader in-store to boost sales, encourage staff, & merchandise displays.
- Engage with customers, sharing your expertise and passion to create a great experience.
- Always represent the brand and company in a positive and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and clearly communicate product details and benefits to customers.
- Provide regular reporting & insights to the Marketing & Buying teams.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year retail sales, buying, marketing, or event management experience
- Highly approachable & friendly person who is skilled in relationship building
- Obsesses over detail, with strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Highly creative with experience in creating engaging marketing activations
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cannabis sales & marketing
- Professional, positive demeanor with customers and fellow staff members
- Ability to adapt to new rules, regulations, products, systems and team members at any given time
- Well-versed on cannabis products and various methods of consumption
- Knowledge of state rules and the ability to keep the establishment compliant
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a current Marijuana Establishment Agent Registration Card
