Sales Associate
The Sales Associate will be the face of the company when customers enter the store and are responsible for welcoming customers, maintaining floor appearance, identifying customer's needs, directing customers to goods, while offering other useful products for sale and operating cash register/POS system. To ensure that company sales goals are achieved and/or exceeded, to increase sales by upselling, and to ensure the accuracy of inventory/stock. They will also be responsible for working with the Buying team for stock replenishment, working with the Marketing team for promotions, and ensuring the merchandise is displayed neatly, organized, and captures the visual esthetic of the brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
· Assess customers’ needs; provide assistance and information on product features.
· Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries.
· Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
· “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.
· Maintain assigned areas stocked and in presentable condition.
· Must follow company policies and standard operating procedures
· Ensure compliance with all customs laws, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Maintain a clean and organized store environment, assisting with regular cleaning tasks as needed.
· Adhere to all safety and security protocols to uphold store standards.
· Remain knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options.
· Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
· Cross sell products
· Handle returns of merchandise.
· Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
· Build productive trust relationships with customers.
· Comply with inventory control procedures.
