Don's Appliances is hiring a Plumbing Sales Associate for the South Hills of Pittsburgh.  At Don's Appliances, we invest in our Sales Associates providing comprehensive training and mentoring to ensure their success. If you like working with people, you will love this position!

**We anticipate the first-year income to be $80K - $110k+ after the 2nd year for a committed sales representative.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 

• Assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise in our store, online, and processing special orders by phone or in person.
• Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service.
• Meet or exceed sales goals established by store management.
• Must be passionate about customer service.
• Have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Saturday and Sunday hours are mandatory.
• Attend training provided by the company or manufacturers to become knowledgeable about the products carried.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Exemplary Customer Service
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other computer programs.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Previous plumbing retail sales required.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, all day.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a retail business environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and inventory scan guns.
