Conklin Automotive in Hutchinson, KS, has an opening for a Sales Business Development Appointment Coordinator. As a Sales BDC Appointment Coordinator, you will handle inbound/outbound scripted calls and appointment setting for sales customers. The Sales BDC Representative works out of our Conklin Cars Hutchinson office in our call center. We take inbound calls for all Conklin Cars locations in Hutchinson, Newton, and Salina. All outbound calls are made based on customers who have expressed interest in our vehicles. Starting pay $15.00 per hour with a monthly bonus potential.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that all incoming sales inquiries are answered promptly, professionally, and according to script
- Responds to customer emails, chats, and text messages
- Confirms appointments and reschedules missed appointments
- Logs customer information and purifies database
- Completes any reports or logs
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Call center experience and/or BDC experience helpful
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident personality; a "Go-getter!"
- Must be motivated by reaching and exceeding goals
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Must be able and willing to work full-time, including rotating shifts and alternating Saturdays
- Must be willing to submit to and pass both a background check and a drug test
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Customer service or related experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent telephone skills
- Working knowledge of the industry a plus
- Highly motivated and willing to learn new skills
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Experience with CRM or other customer service software a plus
